The New Zealand Indian Central Association (NZICA), in partnership with the CD Foundation, is proud to support an official celebration of India’s 79th Independence Day with an evening of music, dance, and cultural pride.

Presented by the High Commission of India in Wellington and the Consulate General of India in Auckland, this special event will feature a live concert by India’s celebrated pop diva, Shibani Kashyap. Known for her soulful voice and electrifying stage presence, Shibani will light up Auckland in a vibrant tribute to India@79, blending music, lights, and dance in a spectacular showcase.

This celebration forms part of the World & US: Indian Festival – New Zealand Chapter 2025, bringing together communities in a shared spirit of unity and national pride.

Venue: Due Drop Event Centre, Auckland

With limited seating available, attendees are encouraged to confirm their participation early to avoid disappointment.

The evening promises not only world-class entertainment but also an opportunity for the community to gather, celebrate, and honour India’s journey of independence. This cultural celebration is made possible through collaborations with valued partners including Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Indian Newslink, Hotel Poenamo, Better Future New Zealand Trust, and Akarshan.
